Grumpi Terms of Service
Overview
Welcome to Grumpi! When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we’re talking about Grumpi — our business and the team behind it. Grumpi operates this website and offers you a curated shopping experience full of squishy furniture goodness (the “Services”). We’re proudly powered by Shopify, which helps bring our store to life.
By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, we totally get it — but unfortunately, you won’t be able to use our Services.
1. Access & Your Account
To shop with us, you must be at least the age of majority in your state or territory, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
You might be asked to provide info like your name, address, email, and payment details. Please make sure it’s accurate and up to date — especially if you want your Grumpi to arrive safely.
You’re responsible for keeping your account login safe. Don’t share it, sell it, or pretend to be someone else.
2. Our Products
We do our best to show our products as accurately as possible — but screen colours and lighting can sometimes play tricks. If something looks slightly different in real life, we hope you still love it.
We may tweak product descriptions, pricing, or availability from time to time — and sometimes we have to discontinue items or limit quantities. We're a growing brand and things change fast!
3. Orders
Placing an order = offering to buy. We’ll confirm when your order is accepted and your payment is processed.
In rare cases, we might need to cancel or amend an order (e.g. stock issues, pricing errors). If that happens, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
All purchases are subject to our Return Policy, and must be for personal use — no reselling or sneaky bulk buying, please.
4. Pricing & Payment
Prices listed are in AUD and may change from time to time without notice. They don’t include shipping, taxes or customs (if applicable).
We might offer discounts or promos occasionally — those will have their own rules.
Please ensure your payment details are correct and up to date. You confirm that:
- You're authorised to use the card or payment method
- You’ll cover all charges, including shipping and applicable taxes
- You’ll pay promptly and in full
5. Shipping & Delivery
We ship across Australia — but not to every postcode just yet. You can read the full scoop in our Shipping Policy.
We aim to dispatch within 1–3 business days and deliver within 7, but delays can happen. Once your parcel is with the courier, it’s out of our hands (though we’ll always try to help if something goes wrong).
Title and risk pass to you when we hand your Grumpi to the carrier.
6. Intellectual Property
Everything you see on our site — from the name Grumpi to the logos, product names, descriptions, and visuals — belongs to us or our licensors.
You can browse, shop, and screenshot us to show your mates — but you can’t reproduce, copy, sell, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
7. Optional Tools
We may offer handy tools from third parties (like reviews, analytics, or upsells). These are provided “as is” and we’re not responsible for how they work.
Use them at your own discretion and check the third party’s terms before diving in.
8. Third-Party Links
Some links on our site might send you to another website — that’s the internet for you. We’re not responsible for what happens on third-party sites or any purchases made there.
Check their policies before buying, subscribing, or entering your details.
9. Powered by Shopify
We use Shopify to power our site — but your transactions are with Grumpi directly. Shopify helps us run the tech, but they’re not responsible for your order or any issues related to our products.
By using our site, you acknowledge this setup.
10. Privacy
We value your privacy like a warm hug. All personal info you share with us is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, and some data is also processed by Shopify and their partners.
11. Feedback & Reviews
We love hearing from you — and if you leave us a review, suggestion or idea, you agree that we can use it to help improve Grumpi (in marketing, on our site, etc.).
You also confirm it’s your own content, isn’t harmful, and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights.
12. Errors & Info
We do our best to keep everything accurate, but sometimes typos or outdated info sneak in. We reserve the right to fix errors or update details — even after you’ve placed an order.
13. Play Nice
We’re here to make life comfier — not for spam, scams, scraping, or impersonation. If you misuse the site or violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access.
14. Warranties & Disclaimers
Our site and products are provided “as is” and “as available”. We can’t guarantee that everything will be perfect 100% of the time, but we’ll always try to make things right if something’s off.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Grumpi isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our site or products.
16. Indemnity
If you do something that causes a legal issue for us (e.g. breach of these Terms), you agree to cover our costs, losses, and legal fees.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in local courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website, and your continued use means you accept the changes.
