Totally normal. Because our furniture arrives compressed, it can take 24–48 hours to fully puff up and look its best. Just let it chill, settle in, and do its thing — kinda like you after a big weekend.

High-density foam, wrapped in soft, durable upholstery. Almost everything is foam all the way through, with no hard frame and no springs. The Peachi is the one exception: it sits on an MDF base with a 360° swivel. SGS put the adult range through 20,000 seat cycles and 15,000 back cycles at 950N. Teddi and Beari got their own kids test: 10,000 seat cycles at 750N under EN 17191:2021. Yes, we counted. Read the test scope.

The Loungi range is modular. Its modules zip together, no tools, no fuss. Everything else is a single piece that just needs unboxing.

If I'm in stock, I'm usually out the door within 1 business day. Pre-orders ship once my stock lands. Metro delivery in 10 business days, or a $100 store credit if we’re late. The 10 days are counted from dispatch, and the store credit is yours to spend with us. Depending on your location, delivery can happen within 2 business days. Regional and remote areas take a bit longer and aren’t covered by that guarantee, but we’ll keep you posted with tracking either way. The 10-business-day guarantee doesn’t cover pre-order items. They ship once the stock lands, and we’ll keep you posted on timing.

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your postcode, so the price you see is the price you pay. No surprises at the end.

Absolutely. You’ll get tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Changed your mind? You’ve got 30 days from delivery. One catch — the box needs to be unopened, because once a Grumpi is out of the vacuum bag it can’t go back in.

Approved? Return shipping is at your cost — send it back yourself, or we'll book the pickup and take the freight off your refund. Already opened it and it’s not the vibe? Donate it to a registered charity, send us proof, and we’ll refund 75% of the item price. No return needed.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. For a change-of-mind return the product needs to be unopened and in its original packaging — our furniture is vacuum-sealed, and once the seal is broken it expands and can’t be compressed back down.

Return shipping is at your cost. Once your return is approved, send the unopened box back yourself, or we can book the pickup and take the freight off your refund. We'll refund the item cost within 7 business days of getting it back. The original delivery fee isn't refunded either — that trip has already happened.

Already opened it? Donate it to a registered charity, email us proof, and we’ll refund 75% of the item price. And if your item arrives damaged or faulty we’ll replace or refund it, shipping and all — just email help@grumpi.com.au with your order number and a few photos.

One year from the day I land. That covers manufacturing faults and defects in materials or workmanship under normal use at home.

It sits on top of your Australian Consumer Law guarantees, which apply no matter what and don’t expire when a warranty does.

Nope. For the Loungi, Plumpi, Tootsi, Teddi and Beari it’s just tear off the plastic and let it puff up — no tools at all. The Peachi is the only one that needs anything: a base plate that screws on with an allen key. Takes less than 2 minutes, promise.

Spot clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Avoid bleach, flame throwers, or putting it in the washing machine.
