The Plumpi is a beanless bean bag chair — one solid block of foam, no beans, no refills — vacuum-compressed into a box and shipped from Melbourne. $299. Metro delivery in 10 business days or $100 back.

All the slouch. None of the beans.

I'm the chillest seat in the room. All curves, no hard edges, no frame, and absolutely no plans. Bean bags go flat and need topping up. I don't. Every part of you sinks in just right, then I go back to being a chair.

I arrive flat in a box that fits through a standard doorway, and I'm back to full size in 24–48 hours. No tools. Nothing to assemble. Cut the wrap, stand back.

Delivery & returns

Freight is charged and depends on your postcode. Most metro trips run $59 to $99 for a single piece, extra pieces add freight, and the exact cost is calculated at checkout.

Changed your mind? You have 30 days. If the box is unopened we cover return shipping and arrange the pickup. If you have already opened it, you can donate it to a registered charity and get 75% of the item price back. The original delivery fee is not refunded.

Product care
  • Spills & Spot Cleaning: Accidents happen (we’ve seen your snack habits). If you spill, blot, don’t rub, you’re dabbing a mess, not exfoliating your face. Use a clean, dry cloth, and skip the harsh cleaners. Seriously.
    For anything gnarly, call in the pros. I’ll pretend it never happened.
  • Keep Me Fresh: Vacuum me regularly using a soft brush head, or go wild with a lint roller if you’re feeling fancy. Dust, fluff, toast crumbs, I collect it all, and I’m not proud of it.
  • Shade Me, Babe: Like your ex, I don’t do well in direct sunlight. Keep me out of harsh rays and away from heaters unless you want my glow-up to fade faster than a spray tan in a heatwave.
  • Handle With Sass: Watch the bling, sharp zips, rogue belt buckles and hyperactive pets. I’m soft, not invincible. (Yes, Karen, this means don’t let your chihuahua dig in.)
  • Dark Denim Drama: New jeans? Cute. But don’t let them sit on me before their first wash unless you want an unexpected tie-dye makeover. I don’t suit indigo.
  • No Couch Crunching: Don’t stack heavy stuff on my arms, lean weirdly on my back, or plonk me on a slanted floor. I’ll wobble, sag, and judge you silently.

Fair questions.

Will it survive my dog?

Short answer: yes. Every Grumpi is tested to Australian standards, including a 20,000-sit test, and the covers are tougher than they look. The dog will still claim it as theirs. That part we can't help with.

How squished is squished?

Vacuum-compressed and flat-packed into a box that fits through a standard doorway. Cut the wrap, stand back, and give it 24 to 48 hours to reach full size.

Do I need tools?

Almost never. The Loungi, Plumpi and Tootsi need nothing at all. The Peachi is the one exception — its base plate screws on with the allen key in the box, about two minutes.

What if I hate it?

You have 30 days. If the box is unopened we cover return shipping and arrange the pickup. If you have already opened it, you can donate it to a registered charity and get 75% of the item price back — someone gets a couch, you get most of your money.
