The Beari is a kids armchair in deep, long-pile faux fur — ears on the back, arms to flop over, nothing hard anywhere — vacuum-compressed into a box and shipped from Melbourne. $219, plus shipping from $19 depending on your postcode. Metro delivery in 10 business days, or a $100 store credit if we're late.

Small chair. Enormous fluff.

I'm the one they'll pick. Apologies to the others. I'm built low so they can climb in on their own, and I've got a proper back and arms, which is more than most bean bags manage. Faces get buried in me daily. I've made peace with it.

I arrive flat in a box and I'm back to full size in 24–48 hours. No tools. Nothing to build. Cut the wrap, stand back.

From dispatch, deliveries are expected within 10 business days, and metro orders usually arrive sooner. Full delivery terms, including our $100 metro guarantee, are in our Shipping Policy.

Freight is charged and depends on your postcode. Most trips run $19 to $49 for a single chair, each extra chair adds $10, and the exact cost is calculated at checkout.

Changed your mind before it ships? Full refund, no dramas. Once it arrives you have 30 days. If the box is unopened we cover return shipping and arrange the pickup. If you have already opened it, you can donate it to a registered charity and get 75% of the item price back. The original delivery fee is not refunded.

  • Spills & Spot Cleaning: Accidents happen. More often, around here. If something goes on me, blot, don't rub — you're dabbing a mess, not scrubbing a pan. Clean, dry cloth, and skip the harsh cleaners. For anything gnarly, call in the pros. I'll pretend it never happened.
  • Keep My Fluff Fluffy: Give my pile a brush with a soft pet brush or your fingers to keep it lofty, and vacuum me with a soft brush head. Crumbs, glitter, half a sultana. I collect it all, and I'm not proud of it.
  • Shade Me, Babe: I don't do well in direct sunlight. Keep me out of harsh rays and away from heaters unless you want my colour to fade faster than a spray tan in a heatwave.
  • Handle With Sass: Watch the sharp zips, rogue buckles and hyperactive pets. Long fur and a determined chihuahua are not friends.
  • Dark Denim Drama: New jeans? Cute. Don't sit on me before their first wash unless you want an unexpected tie-dye makeover. I don't suit indigo.
  • No Couch Crunching: Don't stack heavy things on my arms, lean weirdly on my back, or plonk me on a slanted floor. I'll wobble, sag, and judge you silently.

Fair questions.

What age are the kids armchairs made for?

Beari and Teddi are made for little people aged 18 months to 6 years. Their low 25cm seat keeps everything at kid level — including the crumbs, unfortunately.

Do I need to assemble it?

No tools. No screws. No tiny bag of mystery parts. Open the box, remove the wrap and watch it expand. Give it 24 to 48 hours to reach full size.

What's the difference between Beari and Teddi?

Same kid-sized shape. Different level of fluff. Beari wears deep, long-pile faux fur. Teddi comes in soft teddy fabric. Both are available in cream, brown, blue and pink.

How big is the chair?

Both kids armchairs measure 65cm wide, 60cm deep and 55cm high. The seat is 25cm high, 40cm deep and 35cm wide.

How do I clean it?

Blot spills with a clean, dry cloth — don't rub them in. Vacuum with a soft brush head for crumbs, fluff and the occasional mystery snack. A lint roller works a treat on Teddi, and a soft pet brush keeps Beari's long pile fluffy. Skip harsh cleaners and call a professional for anything serious.

When will my pre-order ship?

The current expected arrival is shown just above the pre-order button. Once the chair lands in our Melbourne warehouse, we'll dispatch it within 1 business day.

Will the box fit through the door?

That's the idea. Your chair arrives vacuum-compressed in a box made to fit through a standard doorway. Get it into the right room before you let it expand. Future you will be grateful.
