The Loungi Modular Sofa is a full-size modular lounge in Brown Snow Velvet, vacuum-compressed into boxes and shipped from Melbourne. From $829 for 2 pieces. Metro delivery in 10 business days or $100 back.

I'm the Loungi Sofa. Modular, so you build me however you want — two pieces, three, five, six — zipped together with zero tools. I turn up as a compressed sofa in boxes, take 24–48 hours to find my shape, then get sat on forever.

  • Rearrange me whenever — corners, armless middles, arms on either end. Add another module when the room grows.
  • No tools, no allen key — modules zip together, about as hard as making a bed.
  • Fits through your door — each module vacuum-compressed into its own box, full size in 24–48 hours.
  • Built to cop it — tested by SGS to 20,000 seat cycles, 3 year warranty.
  • Metro delivery in 10 business days or $100 back.

  • 2 Piece $829 — Left Arm + Right Arm. A two-seater, 220cm wide
  • 3 Piece $1,239 — Left Arm, Armless, Right Arm. A three-seater, 300cm wide
  • 5 Piece $1,999 — Left Arm, Armless, Corner, Armless, Right Arm. An L-shape, 280cm each way
  • 6 Piece $2,199 — the 5 Piece plus a Tootsi ottoman for feet, snacks, or one more person

FYI — no two Grumpis are exactly alike, so yours may have tiny quirks. Freckles, not flaws.

Delivery & returns

Dispatched within 1 business day. Deliveries are expected within 10 business days, and metro orders usually arrive sooner — sometimes within 2. Full delivery terms, including our $100 metro guarantee, are in our Shipping Policy.

Freight is charged and depends on your postcode. Most metro trips run $59 to $99 for a single piece, extra pieces add freight, and the exact cost is calculated at checkout.

Changed your mind? You have 30 days. If the box is unopened we cover return shipping and arrange the pickup. If you have already opened it, you can donate it to a registered charity and get 75% of the item price back. The original delivery fee is not refunded.

Couldn’t recommend Grumpi Furniture highly enough! From start to finish, the customer service was absolutely amazing. The delivery process was a little tricky to organise, but the team went above and beyond to make everything work and kept me informed throughout the whole process. And the sofa itself is even better than I expected — it looks absolutely incredible, feels ridiculously comfortable, and has completely transformed the space. The quality is fantastic and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design. It’s not often you get both an amazing product and genuinely exceptional customer service, but Grumpi Furniture absolutely nailed both. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase! 🙌

The couch is beautiful Never received shipping details though, arrived 19 days after ordering, to regional city in vic. We were surprised when it showed up on the doorstep as we hadnt been given any tracking info, which was a bit worrying afrer outlaying a chunk of money online. The admin folks were very reaponsive and good to deal with. And the product is even better than it appeared in the pic

Fair questions.

Will it survive my dog?

Short answer: yes. Every Grumpi is tested to Australian standards, including a 20,000-sit test, and the covers are tougher than they look. The dog will still claim it as theirs. That part we can't help with.

How squished is squished?

Vacuum-compressed and flat-packed into a box that fits through a standard doorway. Cut the wrap, stand back, and give it 24 to 48 hours to reach full size.

Do I need tools?

Almost never. The Loungi, Plumpi and Tootsi need nothing at all. The Peachi is the one exception — its base plate screws on with the allen key in the box, about two minutes.

What if I hate it?

You have 30 days. If the box is unopened we cover return shipping and arrange the pickup. If you have already opened it, you can donate it to a registered charity and get 75% of the item price back — someone gets a couch, you get most of your money.
