Armless, sit any wayNo toolsDeep foam core

No arms. No rules. Sit however you like.

A proper armchair without the arms. Soft curves, a deep foam core and room to sit sideways, cross-legged or curled up with a book. Wedge me in a corner or pull me up to the window and I'll make it the best seat in the house.

SpillsBlot, don't rub. You're dabbing a mess, not exfoliating your face. Clean, dry cloth, no harsh cleaners.
Keep me freshVacuum with a soft brush head, or go wild with a lint roller. Toast crumbs, I collect them all.
Shade me, babeKeep me out of harsh sun and away from heaters, or my glow-up fades fast.

Why I'm different

1

Armless on purpose

Clean lines and room to sit sideways, cross-legged or however you like.

2

Small-space friendly

At 80 cm wide I fit the corners, bedrooms and studio flats a chunky armchair can't. And if you ever want more, I zip to other Loungi pieces.

3

Deep foam core

Supportive enough for a full 7-hour workday, according to one very committed reviewer.

We’re obsessed with our new grumpi loungi!!! It’s so comfy, super supportive, and really versatile as both a couch and a dining chair table! The guys at grumpi are so kind and helpful, and we would definitely buy from them again!

Absolutely obsessed with my Grumpi furniture!!! Looks so stunning and is even more comfortable!! They’re so light and easy to move too, which has been great for entertaining and wanting to use our space differently. Also very easy to clean! We get sooo many compliments every time someone walks through the door. We love all of our pieces and will definitely be buying more!

I have been looking to fill this random space in my lounge room for over 2 years when I came across this brand. I’m so happy with both of my chairs!! The service was amazing with delivery within a few days of ordering.

Alysha C. · 14 May 2026

I’ve already recommended it to my friends that are moving into a new place. It's really great!

The Loungi is perfect!!

Ella S. · 10 Mar 2026

I just wanted to share that the Loungi has genuinely become my favorite spot lately. I can't get enough of it. The texture, the firmness... it's honestly amazing. I've been sitting on it through full 7-hour workday with zero complaints (I could live on this thing).

Fair questions

Can I use the Loungi Occasional Chair on its own?

Yes. I'm an armless chair, 80 cm wide, 90 cm deep and 75 cm high, with a 40 cm seat height. I can also zip to other Loungi modules.

How does the Loungi connect?

Loungi modules connect with a zip. Position the pieces how you want them, then zip them together. No tools needed.

Will it survive my dog?

Honest answer: my tests cover sitting and leaning, not claws or chewing. Trim the nails and throw a blanket on their favourite spot.

What if I open it and hate it?

How much is delivery, and how long does it take?

Shipping is worked out by your postcode at checkout. In-stock orders are dispatched within 1 business day, and it's metro delivery in 10 business days or $100 store credit.
